Solar Power
By Christian

WHAT IS SOLAR POWER
Solar power is not like fossil fuels. It is a type of power run by sun.

MAKING SOLAR POWER

To make solar power you need the sun, solar cells, solar panels, and a lot of space. You need to pay a lot of money. Solar power is expensive.

USING SOLAR POWER

This is how you use solar power. For an example: cook food, heat your air and water, turn on your tv and your lights. How solar power helps you cook. When you turn on the oven you don’t waste electricity. Another way to use solar power is in space. Yes solar power can be used in space. Solar power in space can be used on a space station, satellites, and space telescopes. Keep solar panels in the sunniest  spot where you live because solar power needs the sun to charge. Also keep solar panels away from animals. Birds can think that a solar panel is a lake and dive toward it at top speed and smash in to the solar panel and die.

PROBLEMS

Solar power has some problems to. The problems are solar power cannot work in the rain or the clouds. In space and something sharp was floating it can stab into the panel destroying it. Keep sharp things away from solar panels.

WAYS YOU CAN HELP

Solar power can help you have a better life so you can help stop global warming. Use solar cars instead of gas cars. Help save the environment. So here are ways you can help.

RECYCLE.

You can use SOLAR, WATER, AND WIND POWER.

So you can help too!
