Recycling
By Rowan
Imagine this world without recycling our world would have tons and tons of landfills. We would barely have good parks and homes but now imagine what can learn about recycling.
How Recycling Helps
Recycling is great! For example it saves habitats, land, homes, animals and, the Earth. So if it saves the Earth then it must save us. It saves land because if you don’t recycle the trash goes to a landfill and if the landfill is full then they have to get more land which destroys animal’s homes. When you recycle paper you don’t have to cut down trees. When you cut down trees you cut an animal's home down and most important we get less oxygen.
How To Recycle
First, get a bin or bins. Next, if you have stuff you want to recycle here are things you can and cannot recycle.Things you can recycle are plastic bottles, plastic bags, plastic, paper, books, sheets, cardboard, boxes, glass, glass bottles, metal, and metal water bottle. Things you can’t recycle are foam, food peelings and leftovers, rubber, and fabric. Then, take it down near to your mailbox with the recycling sign facing for others to see. Last, when the bin(s) are empty put them back from before taking it down then repeat this cycle.
Some People That Recycle
According to Mrs. Yoo’s 3rd grade class these are the people that recycle and don’t recycle but of course all 24 students including Mrs. Yoo recycle because they know recycling is great to the Earth. Recycling is great that’s why you should recycle to like Mrs. Yoo’s class.
